I saw many QnA sites (powered by Stackoverflow and OSQA) - They all have Votes, Answers and Views in the homepage on the Left. (Askbot has on the right in the homepage)

IMO there are good reasons to keep it in the left side. We read and skim content from Left to right. Also right also keeping on the right-side right means - posts gets less noticed, less votes and answers. And most views are reflected by their upvotes.

What was the reason in askbot to have it on the right?
