i tried hard to connect my blog through google webmaster tool. i have gone through this vedio "Google Webmaster Tools - The Expand2Web Blog" but there is no editor option in manage theme.i tried to connect it through addition of meta tags.my blog is in neerajpro.wordpress.com Please suggest me how can install plugin in my blog.is there any easy to connect site to a search engine .
Log in to your Google web master tools link text using the desired google mail ID. Now click on the option Add a site and place the desired website link which you want to submit to google web master tools. After entering your web site link you will be redirected to a window. Select the verification mode that is flexible for you if your are using wordpress blog or HTML web site it is recommended to up load the the HTML file to server as if at all you make any changes in your template it wont effect google web master tools. Then click on the verify button and google automatically verify your ownership usually it takes 24hrs to index your web site to it servers.
thanks for the answer. can u elobrately explain how and where to upload html.i tried all the option suggested and recommended by webmaster tool.unable to solve my problem.i have also downloaded seo to plugin in my blog and my theme doesnot show any option .please suggest.my blog is neerajpro.wordpress.com
Put it in your document root directory. What webserver are you using? What server config files can you access?
